About the Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting
February 21-24, 2008
The award-winning Berkeley Springs International Water
Tasting welcomes more than one hundred waters from across
the country and around the
globe on Saturday, February 23. Held in the historic spa town of Berkeley
Springs, West Virginia, it is the largest water tasting competition
in the world.
Municipal waters compete for the coveted honor of best tasting
tap water at 2:30pm. Bottled waters, both still and sparkling will
be
judged at 6:30pm, along with waters in a new category, purified drinking
water. All day Saturday, the public will have an opportunity to vote
for the People's Choice award for best packaging. More..

WATER: OUR LEGACY
is our seminar
to address industry issues in an in-depth manner. Once again we are
bringing together expert panelists from within the industry to lead
the one day event Friday, February 22, 2007, at The
Country Inn at Berkeley Springs.
Time: 1 to 5 pm. The seminar is free so we hope you will attend this
exciting event sponsored by Travel
Berkeley Springs.
WHERE?
The Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting is held at
The Country
Inn at Berkeley Springs,
in downtown Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. Preliminary judging will
be Thursday,
February 21 and
the final tasting will be
conducted Saturday, February 23, followed by a reception announcing
winners for both bottlers and municipalities.
The Saturday evening tasting and reception, billed as black
tie/bib overalls optional, is free to the public by invitation
from the area's innkeepers. The reception will feature
some of the wonderful food
from The Country Inn at Berkeley Springs.
