Annual Festivals of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia - The Country's First Spa Three renowned festivals star fabulous tastes -- the annual Apple Butter Festival on Columbus Day weekend in October, International Water Tasting the end of February, and Uniquely West Virginia food and wine festival in mid-April. The Winter Festival of the Waters which includes the Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting fills January through March with fun and excitement.

Apple Butter Festival Harvest rite with parade, crafts, concerts, games, mountain food, apple butter cooking in kettles while you watch. Annual, Columbus Day Weekend. 36th Annual Festival is October 10& 11, 2009.

Winter Festival of the Waters Spas, resorts, inns, restaurants, shops of Berkeley Springs conspire to brighten winter with three-months of specials along with these exciting events:

Spa Feast Sample alternative and preventive health services. Demonstrations, displays, door prizes and menu of local health specialists. From pedicures to reflexology, Bio Magnetics to massage therapy, we've got the cure for your winter blahs. January 23-25, 2009.

The Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting competition. Municipal, bottled non-carbonated and sparkling water is tasted by the public and media judges held the last weekend in February, annually. February 19-22, 2009.

George Washington's Bath Tub Celebration $1 specials prove that Washington's face still means something in Berkeley Springs. Special Washington events, Saturday March 15. Check Washington's Bath Tub in the State Park for details. March 13-15, 2009.

Uniquely West Virginia Mid-April Saturday celebration of West Virginia wine and food. Fair, displays, specials. April 18, 2009.
